Beatrice Fern's Obituary
Beatrice Fern Brown-Fowler, 86, of South Haven , passed away Tuesday, April 8 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born December 5, 1921 in Bangor, Michigan the second child of Hilda Scott-Brown and John Brown. The family moved to South Haven in 1928 where Beatrice attended South Haven Public Schools. Beatrice married Thomas Fowler. For many years she was a valuable and dependable faithful volunteer at the Warren Senior Center. Beatrice and her husband enjoyed going fishing together.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Thomas Fowler. Brothers – Harold and Donald Brown and her sister – Vadah King.
She leaves to mourn, a devoted and caring cousin Huldah Carter of Holland, Michigan. Two nieces – Rhonda and Lori King both of South Haven, Michigan. One aunt, three great nephews and numerous cousins in Michigan and Illinois.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 14 at 3:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating.
