Naomi's Obituary
Naomi Springer, 77, of South Haven died Monday, March 10 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born February 8, 1931 in Caraway, Arkansas to Clyde and Fannie (Maddox) Mize. Naomi married T.J. Springer on May 1, 1947. Naomi worked at the Michigan Fruit Canners. She was a member of the Blue Cross Baptist Church in Paragold, Arkansas. She also attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in South Haven. Naomi enjoyed quilting, crocheting, fishing and antagonizing her husband.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – T.J. Springer who died in 1991. Her infant son – Randy Springer in 1955 and her sister – Helen Mize.
She is survived by three sons – Danny (Roberta) Springer of South Haven, Michigan, Larry Wayne (Emma) Springer of Cardwell, Missouri and Lannie Geral (Pam) Springer of Cardwell, Missouri. Two daughters – Sandy Barnett of South Haven, Michigan and Vicki (Josh) Applegate of Paragold, Arkansas. 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. One brother – Willie Mize of Bangor, Michigan and two sisters – Madaline Miller of Cortez, Florida and Linda Tosh of Bangor, Michigan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 14 at the McDaniel’s Funeral Home in Senath, Missouri with Pastor George Haygood officiating. Burial will take place at Senath Cemetery in Senath, Missouri.
