Louis's Obituary
Louis Eugene Sherrell, 73, of South Haven died Wednesday, February 27 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born July 18, 1934 in Cullman, Alabama to Louie and Rosie (Steel) Sherrell. Louis married Lovella Williams in August 1950. Louis worked as a cotton farmer. He was a member of a Baptist Church
He is preceded in death along with his parents by 3 brothers – Ralph, James and Billy Sherrell and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife – Lovella Sherrell of South Haven. Three sons – Michael Sherrell of Attalla, Alabama, Billy Sherrell of Holland, Michigan and Eugene (Pat) Sherrell of Pullman, Michigan. Seven daughters – Edna (Randy) Green of Holland, Michigan, Julie Stienburg of South Haven, Michigan, Wanda Sherrell of covert, Michigan, Betty Johnson of South Haven, Michigan, Glenda Sherrell of Tempelton, Pennsylvania, Georgianna Sherrell of Bangor, Michigan and Joanne (Eugene) Sorenson of South Haven, Michigan. 20 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Two sisters – Dorothy Sherrell of Cullman, Alabama and Verlene Sherrell of Jacksonville, Florida also survive.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. the funeral home with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating.
