Mildred's Obituary

Mildred Alzada Klotz, 92, of South Haven died Friday, February 1 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

She was born January 10, 1916 in Lacota, Michigan to Abner and Eveleen Deming Combs. Mildred worked at the South Haven Community Hospital as a nurses aid for 16 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Past member of the Rebekah and Ladies of the Moose. Mildred enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her first husband – Worthy Montrose Levine who died in 1975 and her second husband – Carl Klotz in 1991. Her sister – Laura Porter in 2000 also precedes her.

She is survived by one son – Ron (Barb) Levine of Stevensville, Michigan. Three daughters – Kathy (George) Musser of South Haven, Michigan, Millie (Dave) Suhr of Osburn, Idaho and Sue (Tom) Richardson of Indianapolis, Indiana. 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, February 4 from 6 - 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Hollebrands officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
