Joanne's Obituary

Joanne Bingham, 70, of South Haven died Monday, January 21, at her home.

She was born March 22, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Anna (Reitenbach) Sollman. Joanne married Doyle Bingham on April 12, 1952 at the First Congregational Church parsonage. Joanne worked as an inspector at Bohn Aluminum for19 years retiring in 1996. Before that she also worked for South Haven Coil. Joanne was a member of the First Congregational Church of South Haven. Joanne was the former We Care Food Pantry Co- Coordinator for 6 years. Joanne enjoyed playing golf, reading,fishing,traveling and made stained glass crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband – Doyle Bingham of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Peter Bingham of Port Clinton, Ohio and Timothy (Cathy) Bingham of South Haven, Michigan. Two daughters – Elizabeth (Gary) Enge of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Beverly (Lee) Mealer of South Haven, Michigan. Five grandchildren –Keith and Kevin Enge, Chris (Tammy) and Darren Mealer, Jennifer Bingham. Five great grandchildren – Adrianna, Blake, Trinity Mealer and Elizabeth Stansberry and J.T. Biggers. One brother – Robert (Shirley) Sollman of South Haven, Michigan.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 26 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church with Rev. Catherine Batten Balk officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Holland. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
