Donald Brian's Obituary
Donald Brian Doornbos, 55, of South Haven died Wednesday, January 16 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation community.
He was born December 17, 1952 in Oak Park, Illinois to Arthur and Clara (Bronkema) Doornbos. Donald worked as a truck driver for a garbage company. Donald enjoyed fishing, boating and playing Frisbee.
He is preceded in death by his father – Arthur Doornbos who died in 1999.
He is survived by his son – Scott Doornbos of South Haven, Michigan. Mother – Clara Doornbos of Schaumburg, Illinois. Two brothers – Ray (JoAnn) Doornbos of Luck, Wisconsin and Bob (Cathi) Doornbos of Downers grove, Illinois. One sister – Pat (Tom) Ferraro of Fox River Grove, Illinois. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 20 from 1 – 4:30 at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Sunday at 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Phillip Hanner officiating.
