James Aloyous's Obituary
James Aloyous Shabazz, 74, of Coloma died Sunday, December 2 at home.
He was born June 9, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Foster and Imelda (Odey) Branch. He married Cleo Crayton on February 23, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. James worked in maintenance for Bangor Public School for the past 7 years.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his siblings - Nick, Peter, Paul, Thomas, Mary and Michael.
He is survived by his wife – Cleo Branch of Coloma, Michigan. One daughter – Doranna (Kenneth) Byrd of South Bend, Indiana. Two grandchildren – Kenneth Julian Byrd and Davohn James Byrd. One sister – Anna Marie Jenkins of Houston, Texas. Four brothers - Jonathan Branch (Socorro-Conceicao) of Maryland, Phillip Branch, Robert Branch and John Branch of Houston, Texas. A host of nieces, nephews and relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 AM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Fish Cemetery in Covert Township. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
