Judith Lee's Obituary

Judith Catt Olson, 64, of South Haven died Saturday, November 17 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was born February 5, 1943 in South Have, Michigan to Charles and Jean (Wilson) Catt. Judith graduated from South Haven High School in 1961 and then from Aquinas College with a Bachelors Degree. Judith was an artist. She worked in and advertising and graphic design. Most of her personal work was abstract art. Judith enjoyed singing and writing poetry. Judith also wrote a screen play called Terminal. While in Dallas, Texas Judith co- wrote, cast and co-produced the play Hondo. This play was based on the Luckenbach Legend. In South Haven she was involved in AAUW and was a former president of that organization.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter – Cheryl Rustin Olson of South Haven, Michigan. Cheryl’s father – Alan Olson of Arlington, Texas. One brother – Ken (Libby) Catt and one sister – Cheri (Monty) Brenner both of South Haven, Michigan. Nieces and nephews - David Catt, Mellissa Catt, Heidi (Carl) Turchan, and Vince Brenner.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, from 2 – 3 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. John Fisher officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
