Fred's Obituary
Fred R.B. Wilson, 93 passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven, Michigan. Fred was born April 28, 1914 in Cross County, Arkansas to John and Mae (Cook) Wilson. He married Frances V. Greenwood on April 16, 1938 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas. Fred worked in manufacturing at Scotts Manufacturing and at Chris Craft in Holland until his retirement.
Fred is preceded in death by his wife – Frances who died Aug. 5, 2000. His brothers – Miles, Bruce, Earl, Herman, Ruben, Grit, Shelton and Forrest Wilson. Two sisters – Ruth McMurtry and Pearl Lloyd.
He is survived by his children: Clyde (Linda) Wilson of South Haven, Michigan, John (Margo) Wilson and Mark (Vicki) Wilson of Hamilton, Michigan, Jerry (Anne) Wilson of Pullman, Michigan and Pat Pacheco of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Eighteen grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren. Four sister-in-laws - Evelyn, Violet, Bobbie and Lucille Wilson.
Visitation will be Monday, November 19 from 5-8 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 20 at 1:30 P.M. at the Allegan Bible Church, 412 South Sherman St., Allegan, Michigan with the Pastor Chad D. Nightingale officiating. Burial will take place in McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
