Cora Mae's Obituary
Cora Mae Atteberry, 80, of South Haven died Friday, October 26 at her home.
Cora was born on September 4, 1927 in Bangor, Michigan to Bert and Clara Christine (Larsen) Willis. Cora was a long time member of the Church of Christ in Bangor and was active in their Women’s Guild. Cora loved to sew, quilt, read and watch the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sons - Daniel and David Atteberry.
Also by three brothers – Leroy, Orville and John Willis. One sister – Anna Hinz.
She is survived by her children – Gary (Deloris) Atteberry of Kalamazoo, Michigan, James (Jeanie) Atteberry of Lawton, Michigan , Karen (Dennis) Watkins of South Haven, Michgan and Kathy Spencer of South Haven, Michigan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 31 from 1 – 2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
