Leon's Obituary
Leon Goss, 88, of South Haven died Wednesday, October 24 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born April 3, 1919 in Hartford, Michigan to Frank and Ida Goss. He loved sports especially the Detroit Lions Football and Detroit Tigers Baseball.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother – Orville Goss. Niece – Cheryl Darnel and nephew – Kenneth Lewis.
He is survived by 2 nieces – Marlene Bradley of South Haven, Michigan and Charlotte Gunter of Greenbrier, Arkansas. Nephew – Art Goss of Coloma, Michigan. 6 great nephews – Thomas Smith and Mark Smith both of South Haven, Michigan, Ryan Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana, Roger Smith of South Haven, Michigan, and Robert Smith of Conway, Arkansas. 6 nieces – Sharlene Smith of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Mary Smith of Conway, Arkansas, Ella Dee Shaw of Morilton, Arkansas, Chris Smith of Manila, Arkansas, Jamie Smith of Wilkesboro, South Carolina, and Stacey Moore of Conway, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Monday, October 29 from 1 -2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
