Robert Lee's Obituary

Robert Lee Bradley, 89, of Covert went to be with his Lord Wednesday, October 17 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven.

He was born March 4, 1918 in Helena, Arkansas to Luke and Alice (May) Bradley. Robert married Geneva Bradley on June 3, 1939 in Helena, Arkansas. He worked as a blueberry farmer for many years selling his farm in 2000. Robert was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon for over 30 years. Robert enjoyed fishing.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Geneva Bradley who died in 2004. His sisters – Evelyn Richardson, Emma Davis and brother – Andrew Bradley also precedes him.

He is survived by 6 nieces – Alice Greer of South Haven, Michigan, Glenolia Glasper of Atlanta, Georgia, Joyce Toms of Indianapolis, Indiana, Hattie Mae Smith of Toledo, Ohio, Christine Marr of Covert, Michigan and Margaret Caroll of South Haven, Michigan.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 19 at 1:00 P.M. at the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Allen officiating. The wake will be from 12 – 1 prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Covert Cemetery.
