Betty Jane's Obituary
Betty Jane Kubassek, 45, of Covert died Monday, October 3 at Home.
She was born January 7, 1962 in Blue Island, Illinois to Theodore and Dorothy (Allen) Martin. Betty owned and operated the Christian Connection downtown South Haven for 10 years. Betty was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
She is preceded in death by her mother – Dorothy Martin and a sister – Susan Martin who died in 2004.
She is survived by her husband – Frank Kubassek of Covert, Michigan. Son – Mark Outland of Edmonton, Kentucky. Father – Theodore Martin of Edmonton, Kentucky. Step-children – Jeffery Kubassek of Bradenton, Florida, Sonya (Duane) Rogers of Portage, Michigan, Angel Bennett of Niles, Michigan, Raymund Kubassek of Val Rico, Florida, and Linda (Peter) Dawson of Kitchner, Ontario Canada. 2 brothers – Larry (Jean) Martin and Ted (Barb) Martin both of Edmonton, Kentucky. Step-grandchildren – Arianna Bennett, Cheyenne Bennett, Austin Guess, Cory Guess, Kenneth Dawson, Cassandra Dawson and Adrian Kubassek.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 8 at 2:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Lasinski officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 -2 before the service. Burial will take place at the Grand Junction Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
