Ella Dora's Obituary
Ella Dora Jensen, 89, of Englewood, Florida formerly of South Haven died Saturday, August 18 at Sarasota Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born February 19, 1918 in Big Rapids, Michigan to Art and Frances (Thompson) Moore. She married Chuck Jensen and together owned and operated Jensen’s Fishery in South Haven. Ella also owned and operated The Party Basket party store and Jensen’s Campground with her son.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her first husband – Henry Somers and second husband – Chuck Jensen and son Terry Somers who died in2005.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law – Janet Somers and grandson – Christopher both of Englewood, Florida.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 24 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Harold F. Filbrandt officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories o the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
