Paula Sylvia's Obituary
Paula Sylvia Sorenson, 53, of Grand Junction, Michigan passed away on May 17, 2007 at her home. She was born on December 8, 1953 in South Haven, Michigan to Paul and Elizabeth (Cisco) Harrell. Paula was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven when she retired for health reasons. Paula enjoyed painting and her flower garden.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Bryant and her parents.
Paula is survived by her husband: Jim Sorenson of Grand Junction, Michigan and her daughters: Paula E. Sorenson of Grand Junction, Michigan and Caroline (Rick) Spicher of Los Lunas, New Mexico. Six grandchildren: Jeramiah Spicher, Codi Eldridge, Austin Benifiel, Brandy Spicher, Tyler Sorenson and Brad Sorenson. One sister: Caroline Harrell of Manhattan, New York.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 4 – 7 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home and funeral service will be on Sunday, May 20, at 1:30 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Edith M. Winter officiating. Burial will be at Grand Junction Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lupus Foundation.
