Allen's Obituary
Allen McKenzie, 50, of South Haven, Michigan passed away on May 15, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Allen was born on January 25, 1957 in South Haven, Michigan to JL and Thelma (Prince) McKenzie. He loved his work as a brick mason and a handyman. He was a member of the Living Promises C.O.G.I.C. in Holland.
Allen is preceded in death by his mother Thelma McKenzie.
He is survived by his daughter: Danielle McKenzie of Okalahoma City, Okalahoma. Four grandchildren, His sisters: Patricia (Rev. Nathaniel Sr.) Sanders of Holland, Michigan, Jean Sims of Okalahoma City, Okalahoma Marion (Edger) Mimms of Bangor, Michigan and Sharon (John) Slone of Kalamazoo, Michigan. His brothers: Raymond McKenzie of Pontiac, Michigan, JL McKenzie Jr. of Holland, Michigan, Bradford McKenzie of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Thomas (Faye) McKenzie of Coloma, Michigan.
A wake will be Wednesday, May 23, from 11 to 12 noon. At the Living Promises Church in Holland. Funeral services will begin a 12 noon with Pastor Nathaniel Sanders Sr. officiating.
