Eveline's Obituary
Eveline Richardson, 88, of Covert died Saturday, April 28 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She was born April 25, 1919 in Elaine, Arkansas to Luke and Mary Alice (Franklin) Bradley. Eveline worked as a share cropper with her husband in Elaine, Arkansas. She also worked at Martin Luther King Nursing Home as a housekeeper. Eveline raised 7 children and 7 grandchildren. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Covert for many years.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Willie Richardson who died in 1968. Three sons –Willie Lee, Sylvester and Leortice Richardson. One daughter – Clara Richardson. One sister – Emma Davis and brother – Andrew Bradley also precedes her.
She is survived by three daughters – Christine Marr, Alice Greer both of Covert, Michigan and Joyce Toms of Indianapolis, Indiana. 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One brother – Robert Bradley of Covert, Michigan.
Wake will be Friday, May 4 from 11:30 – 12:30 at Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Covert. Funeral services will be gin at 12:30 at the church with Pastor Henry Allen Sr. officiating.
