Evelyn O.'s Obituary
Evelyn O. Boyd, 84, of South Haven died April 5, 2007 at home in South Haven, Michigan. She was born May 20, 1923 in Rector, Arkansas to Benjamin and Anna (Cates) Kiestler.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Buford Boyd who died in 1994. One sister – Virginia Trout and one brother – Barney Kiestler. One daughter – Patricia Cope in 2004 also precedes her.
She is survived by three sons – Walter (Donna) Boyd of Pineville, Arkansas, Dale (Janet) Boyd of Calico Rock, Arkansas and Bernell (Shelia) Boyd of Mountain View, Arkansas. Three daughters – Sue (Bill) Schonschack of Phoenix, Arizona, Patsy (Donald) Hoyt and Michele Stuller both of South Haven, Michigan. Ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dureya Gibson officiating.
