Anna's Obituary
Anna Bennett, 88, of South Haven died Wednesday, March 7 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born August 13, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Anna Kiselski. Anna married Loren Bennett on June 1, 1940 in South Haven, Michigan. She worked at Pierce Williams Company in South Haven making strawberry baskets. Anna was a Pink Lady at the South Haven Community Hospital for 38 years. Anna enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She formerly attended Maple Grove Bible Church.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her son – Wayne Bennett who died in 1962.
She is survived by her husband – Loren Bennett of South Haven, Michigan. One son – Ronald Bennett of South Haven, Michigan and one daughter – Diane (Donald) Leslie of Yuma, Arizona. Two grandchildren – Gail Lynn Leslie and Michelle Leslie. Four great grandchildren. One sister – Julia Kuhn of South Haven also survives.
Graveside services will take at Chambers Cemetery on Tuesday, March 13 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Harold Filbrandt officiating.
