Ruby's Obituary
Ruby Lee Clay, 91, of Bangor died Friday, January 5 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born January 19, 1915 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Jim and Rachael (Pittman) Rozier. Ruby confessed Christ at an early age in Greenwood. Ruby was a member of the New Jerusalem Church in Bangor. Ruby is a mother of the church and their oldest member. Ruby was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Elnora Williams Chapter #254.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband and twin brother.
She is survived by her close friends – Joe and Dasie Johnson, Ruth Armstrong and Mary Booker all of Bangor.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11 at 1:00 P.M. at the New Jerusalem Church in Bangor with Pastor Maurice Jones officiating. Wake will be from 12 – 1 at the church prior to the service.
