Ruth's Obituary
Ruth M. Kuhn, 84, of South Haven died Tuesday, November 21 at her home.
She was born August 31, 1922 in Casco Township, Michigan to Lyle A. and Minnie F. (Smith) Hammond. Ruth married Clarence Kuhn on November 28, 1942 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ruth was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Clarence Kuhn who died April 1985. Her brother – Harold Hammond in 1987.
She is survived by two sons – Kenneth Kuhn of Charleston, South Carolina and Martin (Ennda) Kuhn of South Haven, Michigan. One daughter – Nancy Towner of Dallas, Texas. Two grandchildren – Josh and Nicholas. One sister – Louise (Gard) Dolph of Three Rivers, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 9 – 11 A.M. on Monday, November 27 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. William Balza officiating. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
