Burl "Gene"'s Obituary
Burl “Gene” Morris, 70, of Bangor died Sunday, September 24 at home.
He was born April 30, 1939 in South Haven, Michigan to Alice (Teal) and Merle Morris. Gene was employed as a truck driver for several trucking firms. He was a former member of the South Haven Moose #868.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter – Alice Morris of Florida. Son – Timothy A. Morris of Paw Paw, Michigan. Numerous grandchildren. Niece – Barbara Elliott of Grand Junction, Michigan. Three sisters – Betty (Howard) Brewington and Eileen Crabtree both of South Haven, Michigan and Pearl (Phil) Privett of Bangor, Michigan.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 A.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Nail officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 – 11 at the funeral home before the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the VanBuren Cancer Fund.
