Donna's Obituary
Donna Jean Madsen, 69, of South Haven died Wednesday, October 11 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born September 20, 1937 in Geneva Township, Michigan to Everett and Lula (Gipson) Bassett. Donna worked at South Haven Coil for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing and making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. She also enjoyed her flowers.
She is preceded in along with her parents by her husband – Norm Madsen and her daughter – Stephanie Madsen. Two brothers – Everett Bassett and Mike Bassett. A sister – Sandy Allen also precedes her.
She is survived by two sons – Jesse Madsen and Greg Madsen both of South Haven, Michigan. 9 brothers and sisters – Juanita Becker of Florida, Stan Bassett of Sister Lakes, Michigan, Carole Abbott of Bangor, Michigan, Victor Bassett of Des Moines, Iowa, James Bassett of Bangor, Michigan, Robert Bassett of Illinois, Rose Marr, Joyce Sorenson and Vickie Packard all of South Haven, Michigan.
Visitation will be Monday, October 16 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Kindly share your thoughts and memories at the family’s on line guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
