Terry Glen Chumley

Terry “Glen” Chumley, 60, of South Haven died Tuesday, July 18 at his home.

He was born August 7, 1945 in Dixon, Tennessee to Albert A. and Corinna M. (Blunkall) Chumley. Glen married Karen Hosier on June 18, 1965 at the Free Will Methodist Church in South Haven. Glen worked at Bohn Aluminum for 32 years as a Tool and Die Maker. He was presently working at Quality Four in South Haven. Glen worked there for the past 6 years. Glen was a member of the River Bend Boat Club and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose#697. He enjoyed his vegetable garden and hunting for mushrooms in the spring. Also fishing on his boat, Red Eye, and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his father – Albert A. Chumley who died in 2003.

He is survived by his wife – Karen Chumley of South Haven. One son – Gary (Nikol) Chumley of South Haven. Two daughters – Becky Gulliver and Beverly (Bill) Morgan both of South Haven. His mother – Corinna Chumley of South Haven. 6 grandchildren – Eric Wessels, Brent Gulliver, Ashley Wessels, Brittany Gulliver, Billy Morgan and Hunter Chumley. 2 great grandchildren – Noah Donovan and Veronica Wessels. brothers – Art (Ginger) Chumley of South Haven and Tony (Bethany) Chumley of Columbus, Ohio. One sister – Dorothy (Chuck) Herring of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also survives.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 21 at 4:00 P.M. at McDowell Cemetery with Mr. William Odebretch officiating. Burial will take place at McDowell Cemetery, Casco Township. Everyone is invited to a luncheon at the Moose following the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the South Haven Area Hospice.
