Alan (Scott)'s Obituary

MACQUARRIE, Alan (Scott), 42, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday,
July 5, 2006 at the Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, OH.

Scott was born July 21, 1963 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada to Alan
Wallace and Barbara Jean (Taylor) MacQuarrie, formerly of South Haven,
Michigan. Scott attended Bawating Collegiate High School in Sault Ste.
Marie, Ontario and graduated from Sault College in 1985 with a Pulp and
Paper Engineering degree. After graduating, Scott worked at various pulp
and paper mills across Canada. He moved to Park Falls, Wisconsin in 1992 to
continue his career, and was Pilot Plant Supervisor for the past three years
at Andritz Inc. in Springfield, Ohio. He enjoyed restoring Mopar cars,
perfecting his home theater setup, and collecting vintage toys.

Scott is survived by one daughter - Jennifer MacQuarrie of Park Falls,
Wisconsin, and one son - Alan MacQuarrie of Middletown, Ohio. Parents -
Alan Wallace and Barbara MacQuarrie of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Grandmother - Betty Gulley (late Earl) of South Haven, Michigan. Brothers -
Rod (Sue) MacQuarrie of Belleville, Michigan, and Jon (Jodie) MacQuarrie of
Owosso, Michigan. Sister - Donna (Gregg) Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada. Aunts
- Janet (Lee) Targgart of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sissie (Tim) Nicholson of
South Haven, Michigan, Joan (Orville) Pringle and Nancy O'Flaherty of Sault
Ste. Marie, Ontario. Uncles - Earl Gulley of Warsaw, Indiana and Edison
MacQuarrie of St. Albert, Alberta. Nephews – Lachlan, Iain, and Colin
MacQuarrie, Cody and Jeremy Allen. Niece - Kaitlyn Allen.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 15th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the
Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with memorial services beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- Pastor Don Michael officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview
Cemetery, South Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to Pancreatic
Cancer Research at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, 401 North Broadway,
Weinberg 2242, Baltimore, MD 21231-2410 or the
Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave,
