Jack Allen's Obituary
Jack Allen Henry Sr., 74, of Door, formerly of South Haven, died Monday, June 26 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was born December 27, 1931 in South Haven, Michigan to Edward George and Bessie (Youngblood) Henry. Jack graduated from South Haven High School in 1950. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Jack married Mary Jo Buech on May 14, 1961 in South Haven. He was employed as a cost accountant at Everett Piano Company. While in South Haven Jack loved to golf and bowl.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife of 45 years – Mary Jo Henry who died on May 21, 2005. Brothers – William Henry and James Henry.
He is survived by his son – Jack (Carol) Henry Jr. and two grandchildren – Alicia and Abigail Henry of Dorr, Michigan. Step-son – Phillip (Gail) Reames and three grandchildren of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Siblings – Bette (Dave) Allers of South Haven, Michigan, Harold (Joan) Henry of Mattawan, Michigan, Tom (Lorraine) Henry and Neil Henry both of South Haven, Michigan Sister in law, Catherine Henry, 2nd wife of William.
