Michael Allen's Obituary
Michael Allen Rasmus, 45, of Las Vegas, Nevada formerly of South Haven, died Tuesday, June 20 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.
He was born March 16, 1961 in South Haven, Michigan to George Rasmus and Mary (Page) Bodfish. Michael served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Michael married Tina Marsh on July 3, 1997 in Big Bear, California. He worked as a manager for Cox Communications in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael enjoyed fishing. He was a loving and good father. Michael was a Christian. He had integrity and was an honest person.
He is preceded in death by his father – George Rasmus and his step-father Charles Bodfish.
He is survived by his wife Tina Rasmus of Las Vegas, Nevada. One son – Aaron Rasmus and three daughters – Lacey Rasmus, Miyah Rasmus and Jordan Kloka Rasmus all of Las Vegas, Nevada. His mother – Mary Bodfish of South Haven, Michigan. Four brothers – Daniel (Trish) Rasmus of Bangor, Michigan, Vincent Rasmus, Cynthia Pittsley, John (Melissa) Bodfish, all of South Haven, Michigan and Chuck (Sherry) Bodfish of Lacota, Michigan and Cindy Lynn (Chris) Danelz of Atlanta, Georgia.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, from 12 noon to 1:30 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Graveside services will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Lee Township Cemetery, Pullman with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion and VFW Honor Guard.
