Robert R. Ridley, 77, of South Haven died Thursday, June 15 at
He was born January 26, 1929 in Fennville, Michigan to Clinton Arthur and Zella L. (Bridenstein) Ridley. Robert married Barbara J. Hunt on January 24, 1950.
He enjoyed hunting, wood working and fishing.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his daughter – Donna who died in 1987 and a son – Michael who died in 1953. Two brothers and one sister also precede him.
He is survived by his wife – BarbaraJ.. Ridley of South Haven, Michigan. Son – Gary (Valerie) Ridley of Bangor, Michigan and daughter – Julie Eide- Ridley of Covert, Michigan. 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 18 from 6 - 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist with Rev. John Fisher officiating. Burial will take place at McDowell Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or South Haven Area Hospice.
