John Wesley Stroebel II, age 40, of Grand Junction died Thursday, June 8 at home.
He was born February 11, 1966 in South Haven, Michigan to John and Melody (Morgan) Stroebel. John graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 1984. He worked at Allen Extrusion in Holland, Michigan. John enjoyed wood working and refinishing furniture.
He is preceded in death by a brother – Michael Stroebel who died in 1961.
He is survived by a step-daughter – Sara Stroebel of Battle Creek, Michigan. Parents – John and Melody Stroebel of Grand Junctin, Michigan. One sister – Sherri (Fiancée, Matthew Wojtas) Brown of Grand Junction, Michigan. Two brothers – his twin- Ronald Stroebel of Grand Junction, Michigan and Terry Morgan of Ganges, Michigan. Four nieces – Amy, Carmen, Mara, and Megan. One nephew – Matthew. Several Aunts and Uncles also survive.
Visitation will be Monday, June 12 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Holt officiating. Burial will take place at Grand Junction Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
