James McIntosh

James's Obituary

James Allen McIntosh, 59, of South Haven died Tuesday, May 30 at the Holland Hospital.

He was born October 20, 1946 in South Haven, Michigan to Jack and Evelyn (Ailes) McIntosh. James worked for the candle factory in Holland. Most recently, James was a tool & die maker at DuWell in Bangor for 12 years. James served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. James liked to build model cars.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by his infant son – Max D. McIntosh.

He is survived by his son – Matthew (Jenine) McIntosh of South Haven, Michigan and his daughter – Sally McIntosh of Holland, Michigan. Grandchildren – Jessica and Rebecca Lynn Marek. Two brothers – Marvin (Gayle) McIntosh of South Haven, Michigan and Mike (Debbie) McIntosh of Elm, Missouri. One sister – Gail (Robert) Curtis of Waterford, Michigan.

Memorial services will be Friday, June 2 at 1:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Hollebrands officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the American Legion and VFW honor guard. Burial will take place at North Shore Memorial Gardens, Hagar Shores. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
