Effie G. Forrest, age 84, of South Haven, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Countryside Nursing Home. Effie was born November 27, 1921 to Arthur and Grace (Pugsley) Rayner in Benton Harbor, MI. Effie Married James Forrest on February 1, 1947 in Ganges, MI.
She is preceded by her parents, and her husband James Forrest who died May 10, 2002, one brother, and three sisters.
She is survived by her four sons-Pat (Patty) Pierson of Spring Lake, MI., John (Pam) Forrest of Kalamazoo, MI., Ken (Cyndy) Forrest of South Haven, MI., and Dennis (Patricia) Forrest of South Haven., MI. two daughters-Sharon (George) Worel of Athens, AL., and Cathy Willson of South Haven, MI., 15 grand children and 33 great grand children, and one sister-., Ruth Harring of Clair, MI..
Visitation will be Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Cindy Parsons officiating. Burial will take place at McDowell Cemetery.
