Joseph's Obituary
Joseph F. Kojs, 63, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in South Haven, Michigan. He was born on December 12, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Elizabeth L. (Lenert) Kojs. Joseph was a supply sergeant in the Michigan National guard for 21 years and was a security guard at Palisades Nuclear Plant for 10 years. Joe loved to ride and care for his horse Eli.
Joseph is survived by his daughters – Jennifer Kojs of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Michelle Kojs of South Haven, Michigan. Two aunts – Joan Stanek of South Haven, Michigan and Helen Graham of Chicago, Illinois. His cousins – Tom Graham of Chicago, IL and Joan (Larry) Szyszka of Oswego, Illinois. Second cousins – Magen and Patrick Szyszka also survive.
A private family service will be held at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Burial will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
