Robert's Obituary
Robert Ross McCrea, Sr., 70, of Watervliet, died at his home on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. He was born October 15, 1942 to Lotan and Elsie (Baller) McCrea in Spring Lake, Michigan. Robert married Norma Lee McCrea on March 13, 1963 in St. Joseph, Michigan. Robert worked in security for Zayers in Chicago and law enforcement in Chicago and Florida until his retirement in 1986.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife – Norma Lee McCrea and daughter – Renee McCrea.
Robert is survived by his daughter – Brandy (John) Worley of Coloma; son – Robert (Julie) McCrea, Jr. of Kalamazoo; son-in-law – Ron Maser of Watervliet; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guestbook at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
