Thelma's Obituary
Thelma May Osman, 93, of South Haven, died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born June 30, 1919 to William and Lula (Simmons) Bennett in Crotty. Kansas. Thelma ran a beauty shop at her home and in Fennville along with working on the family farm. She played the mandolin and at one time loved to crochet. Thelma was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Earl Osman and three brothers – Oscar, Clarence, and Everett Bennett.
Thelma is survived by three sons – Bob (Ruth) Ulmer of South Haven, Marc (Sandy) Osman of Chester, California, and Craig (Cindy) Osman of Fennville and daughter – Earlene (Robert) Frahm, New Trenton, Indiana. Six grand children and five great grand children also survive.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 26 at 1:00 P.M. at the Casco United Methodist Church with Rev. David Meister officiating. Contributions can be made in Thelma’s memory to the Casco United Methodist Church. Thelma will be laid to rest at the McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
