Sibyl M. Dauer

Sibyl M. Dauer, passed away on the 2nd of February, at the age of 95.  Sibyl was born on the 18th of March, 1917 in New Augusta, Mississippi. She moved to Midland, Michigan in the early 1940s. She lived in the Midland area until 1972 when she moved to Zephyrhills, Florida. After the death of her husband Sibyl spent summers in Midland at Riverside Place for Senior Citizens. For the last three years she lived in South Haven, Michigan.

Sibyl is survived by her four daughters, Sandra Smith of Zephyrhills, Florida, Pat (Earl) Hintz of Midland, Alice (Dan) Bell of South Haven, MI, and Cyndi (Brent) Poe of Goshen, IN. Sibyl is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony (Widya) Dauer, Kelly (Mike) Nelson, Jenny Sova, Michelle (Gary) Tillery, Steven Hintz, Jeremy Chamberlain, Sarah (Zach) Dorland, Brandon Poe, Justin Bell and Brittany Poe. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Dauer of 54 years and one great-grandson. She attended the East Ashman Church of God and the Church of God in Zephyrhills, Florida.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home, 2700 W. Wackerly, with Dr. Brent Poe officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
