David Joseph Kozicki

David Joseph Kozicki, 48, (formerly of Chicago, IL) passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his home in South Haven, MI.  Born June 23, 1964 in Danville, IL to Raymond and Sabina (Zielinski) Kozicki, David married Lisa Jacobs on October 15, 1998 in Maui, HI. An attorney who was a 20 year veteran of the real estate industry, David most recently joined Meridian Title Corporation as Counsel and Director, where he established their first National Commercial Services Division.  He loved spending time with his wife Lisa and his three beloved Labradors – Eisenhower “Ike”, Abraham “Abe” and Dutch, at their Lake Home in South Haven.

David is preceded in death by parents.  He is survived by his wife – Lisa Kozicki of South Haven, MI, his sister – Sandy (John) Rogers of Danville, IL, his brothers – Dan (Lin) Kozicki of Tinley Park, IL, Gary Kozicki of Derry, NH and Ken (Sophie) Wolski of Minooka, IL, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 10 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm and Monday, February 11 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 11, at 11:00 am at David’s home parish of St. Basil Catholic Church, with the Rev.
