Stanley's Obituary
Stanley Arthur Kowitz, 63, of South Haven died on February 12 at home. Stan was born on May 11, 1949 to Maynard and Lucille (Myrkle) Kowitz in Wyndotte, Michigan. Stan was employed by Holland Hitch for the past 17 years. He loved fishing, hunting and flower gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers – Thomas Dudley, Jim Dudley and Ken Kowitz.
Stan is survived by his wife – Diana of South Haven, MI, his children – Shelley Kowitz of Niles, MI, Michael (Deb Ferrell) Kowitz of Lawrence, MI, Al (Angie) Remick and Pamela (Daniel) Spratt of South Haven, MI, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. His sisters – Carol Earls of Southgate, MI and Arlene (Fred) Krestik of Port Huron, MI.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 16 from 1 – 3 pm at Kibbie Christian Reformed Church. Memorial services will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor Ken Kruithoff officiating. Burial will take place at Chambers Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
