Ronette's Obituary
Ronette Jean Black, 42, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord Monday, March 25, 2013 at her home in Grand Rapids. She was born April 11, 1970 to Ronnie Black and Johnnie Knox in Gary, Indiana. She was a 1988 Bangor High school graduate. Ronette loved to travel and plant flowers. She loved to cook and especially enjoyed barbecuing. Ronette was a member of Messiah Baptist Church in Grand Rapids – Dr. Clifton Rhode was her pastor.
She is preceded in death along with her father and her brother – James Black.
Ronette is leaves to mourn her children – Latoya and Ronetta Black both of Grand Rapids; mother – Jonnie (Rev. Charles) Knox of Bangor; two brothers – Anthony (Deliha) Black of Mattawan and Brian (Carol) Black of Goshen, IN; sister – Pamela Edwards; grandson – Jamonte; sever aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Specials friends Brenda Foster and Michelle Scoggins also survive.
Wake will be from 12 P.M – 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Covert. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
