Suzanne's Obituary
Suzanne K. Leffel, 77, of South Haven died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her home. She was born March 29, 1935 to Paul and Katherine (Benson) Kislig in Barberton, Ohio. Suzanne worked at the Kalamazoo State Hospital. Suzanne earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University and worked as an Occupational Therapist Consultant for St. Joseph County. While raising her children, she volunteered at the Kalamazoo Chapter of the American Red Cross. Suzanne enjoyed reading and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Suzanne is survived by her two sons – Eugene Leffel of Colorado and Peter (John Braun) Leffel of South Haven; two grandchildren – Paul and Cary Leffel.
Private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Suzanne’s memory to South Haven’s Hospice at Home or the Al-Van Humane Society. Suzanne will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dover, Ohio.
