Ilene's Obituary
Ilene (Jennings) DeWildt, 82, of South Haven died on April 2 at home. Ilene was born on May 14, 1930 to Leslie and Laura (Bell) Jennings in Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from South High School in 1948. Ilene loved traveling the world with her husband, Dick. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ilene loved nature and using her artistic skills.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ilene is survived by her husband – Richard DeWildt of South Haven, MI, her children – Diana Hardin of Holland, MI, Linda (Jim) Cooper of Ludington, MI, Steve (Kathleen) DeWildt of Hudsonville, MI, Kathlene (Gary) Scheidel of Rockford, MI, Samual DeWildt of Carlsbad, CA, Marcia (Philip) Dolci, of Grand Rapids, MI and Lisa (Bruce) Kietzlman of Hudsonville, MI. 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. One sister – Lorranie (Fred) Geigle of Fremont,MI. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 2-4 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Memorial service at Plainfield Township Cemetery, date to be announced later. Memorials can be made to donor’s choice.
