Emory “Duke” Frank Kelly, 65, of South Haven, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 25, 1947 to Raymond and Ruby (Wood) Kelly in Fayettville, West Virginia. Emory worked at Bohn Aluminum for 28 years and as a maintenance worker until retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and working on the farm near Breedsville.

He is in preceded in death along with his parents by his daughter – Emily Nichols; two brothers – Larry Wayne Kelly and Carl Edward Kelly; one sister – Delma Danise Kelly.

Emory is survived by his wife of 46 years – Florence Kelly; three sons – Emory “Sonny” (Deb) Kelly Jr., Jason Kelly, and Gage Kelly all of South Haven; daughter – Dawn (Charles) Collins of South Haven; Six brothers – Theodore Ray Wood, Thomas Edgar Kelly, Norman Bruce Kelly, James Allen Kelly, Dennis Dale Kelly, and Charles Everette Conley; five sisters – Ida Ann Bragg, Norma Jean Smith, Cheryl Kay Jordan, Pamela Lynn Crawford, and Ruth Ann Highfeild. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Dana Kuenzli officiating. Contributions may be made in Emory’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
