Alfreda's Obituary
Alfreda Campagna 77 of South Haven and formerly of Chicago enter into eternal life Saturday, June 8, at the Hospice House of Holland. Alfreda was born Dec. 10, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Louise (Klein) and Simon Pearson. Alfreda married her devoted husband, Ronald Campagna on June 13, 1959 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Chicago. Alfreda was a committed mother raising eight children. Alfreda enjoyed playing the violin, reading and her children. She and Ron owned A & R’s North Beach Inn and Cottages since 1985. Alfreda was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church.
Alfreda is survived by her husband, Ronald Campagna. Eight Children – Theresa (Mike) Monson, Angela (Ray Wolverton) Campagna, Jack Campagna, Ron (Felicia) Campagna,
Alfreda (John) Venen, Louise (Ofer) Bral, Mary (Jeff) Gibson and Jozel (David) Shwatal. 19 grand children – Emmanuel Monson, Michelle (Eric) Wozniczka, Jessica (Max) Jankowski, Jennifer (John) Jensen, Angel (Anhil) Manriquez, Leonardo Anlar, Breanna Campagna, Kayle Compagna, Rosemarie (Ryan) Woodbury, Anthony Venen, Sarah Venen, Molly, Zachary, and Simone Merchant, Luke, Aiden, and Gabriel Gibson, Miriam and Andrew Shwatal. 15 great grand children – Baylie, Patrick, and Shelbie Monson, Olivia Rose Wozniczka, Katie Jo, Johnny, Addison, and Clark Jensen, Isabel, MaKayla, Joshua, Bryan, and Alex Manriquez, Ella and Sadie-Grace Woodbury. Numerous other family members also survive.
In eternal life, Alfreda will join her parents along with her sister, Hilda Pearson and a brother, Jack Pearson.
Visitation will be Monday, June 10, from 6 to 8 PM at the Filbrandt Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 11, at 1:00 PM at St. Basil Catholic Church with Reverend Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Alfreda will be laid to rest at Breedsville Cemetery in Columbia Township.
