Robert's Obituary
Robert Francis Victor Sr., 89, of South Haven, Michigan, died on Monday, September 30, 2013 at his home. He was born October 24, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Nicholas and Bertha (Schwartz) Victor. Robert served his country in the U.S. Armed Forces for three years during WWII. He then worked maintenance at the South Haven Public Schools for 29 years until he retired in 1984.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Bertha (Albert) Wohlfahrt and Margaret (Clarence) Hacker. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Victor; his children - Robert (Brenda) Victor Jr. and Denise Tranker; Five grandchildren – Alan (Stephanie) Victor, Vanessa (Gary) Consford, Olivia Victor, Tashia (Peter) Honcharenko, and Toni (Jim) Pezzuto; five great grandchildren – Alan Victor, Jr., Conner Consford, Haley and Ellie Honcharenko, and Christopher Pezzuto; niece - Joanne Zantello of Seattle Washington.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Lakeview Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Mark Congrove. Memorial contributions can be made South Haven’s Hospice at Home or to the Moose Scholarship Fund of South Haven.
