Guy's Obituary

 

Guy Martin Daniel Jr., 78, of Coloma stepped into the loving arms of those that have gone before him peacefully on October 3, 2013 at his home attended by family. He was born September 15, 1935 to Guy and Naomi (Sewell) Daniel in Adamsville, TN. He worked as a supervisor for Twin City Container and Quality Pkg. He owned and operated the Pour House in Coloma in the 1980s. The most important thing to him in life was his children, grandchildren and family. He loved Michigan, traveled well, hunted and fished. Guy possessed a vast knowledge and appreciation of nature.

He was preceded in death by his wife – Kathleen “Kitty” (Mak) Daniel; son – Kevin Daniel; parents and five brothers – Norman, Buford, Therman, Lewis and Hurley.

Guy is survived by his daughters – Denise Daniel of British Columbia, Canada, Dara Daniel of North California; sons – Douglas and Kerry of Coloma; grandchildren Briana Melanson, Kristen, Paige, Beau and Tyler Daniel, and Brittany West. Numerous loved nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will take place in Coloma Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Guy’s memory to The Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago
