Steve's Obituary
Steve Allen Green, 58, of Bangor, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven. He was born June 17, 1955 to Arthur and Grace (Beam) Green in Dade City, Florida. Steve graduated from Saugatuck High School in 1973. Steve married Kathleen Pratt on December 6, 1980 in South Haven. He worked in auto body repair and for South Haven Recyclers. Steve loved fishing, camping and snowmobiling. He enjoyed going to flea markets and putting mechanical things together.
He is preceded in death by his son – Christopher Green.
Steve is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathleen (Pratt) Green; daughter – Jennifer Green of Covert; two grandchildren – Dallas Thames and Mahrya Green; Sisters and brother – Dot Coffman of Douglas, Shirley Breon of Allegan, Ruth Hayes of Douglas, Dee Sanders of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Linda (Pete) Karomelis of Glenn, Peggy (Gary) Johnson of Douglas, and Jim Green of Douglas.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Chaplain Laurie Timmer officiating. Contributions may be made in Steve’s memory to the South Haven Hospice at Home.
