Max's Obituary
Max (Mike) B. Medwed, born 03/20/1916 to Rose and Phillip Medwed in Chicago Ill. He passed on 10/08/2013 in Gifford, Ill.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri (Mark) Medwed, and grandson, Mike Rood.
He graduated from South Haven High School and attended the Art Institute of Chicago. He was a member of Carpenters Local Union No. 13, Chicago. He enjoyed performing with the Loyola Players of Chicago, painting, sculpting, writing poetry, travel, and spending time outdoors with his family. He was very devoted to his daughter.
He is preceded in death by relatives Gene (Morris) Abrams, Raymond (Sara) Medwed, Joseph (Lisa) Medwed, Robert (Esther) Medwed, Bess (Harold) Weintraub, Leon (Betty) Medwed, and Seymour (Sara Lee) Medwed.
Celebration of life occurred at 1 p.m., Friday 10/11/2013 at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home, 1076 S Bailey Ave, South Haven, MI. Final resting occurred after the Celebration at Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven MI. Donations should be made to Country Health and Rehab, Gifford, IL in lieu of flowers.
