Marcia's Obituary
Marcia Joan Henson, 62, of South Haven, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at her home. She was born May 14, 1951 to Donald Eugene and Lois Louise (Henry) Leffel in Marcellus, MI. Marcia enjoyed playing on the computer, watching television, and putting together picture puzzles. When able, Marcia enjoyed watching the sun set. Her animals were her babies and her family was very important to her.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her sister – Regina Patton.
Marcia is survived by her husband – Gary Sampson; her children – Tony Nuismer of South Haven, Angelic Franks of South Haven, David Nuismer of Grand Junction, Christine (Gary) Lewis of Texas, and Laura (Mark) Potter of Midland, IL; three brothers – David (Karen) Leffel, Donald (Jewel) Leffel, and Brent (Jeanette) Leffel all of South Haven; three sisters – Shelly (Gerald) Dutkiewicz, Vivian (Nick) Gigiano both of South Haven and Tina Widner of Holland, MI. Ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating. Marcia will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.
