Betty's Obituary

 

Betty Lou Campos, 67, of South Haven, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born November 30, 1946 to Carl and Marie (Culver) Weaver. Betty was a seamstress and re-upholsterer for Perfection 1st Body Shop. Betty enjoyed her sewing machine, quilting, gardening and tending her house plants.

She is preceded in death by her parents – Carl Weaver who passed in 2004 and mother Marie who passed in 2013; her sister – Stephanie Tulak who passed in 1994.

Betty is survived by her children – Rex Brunson of South Haven and Jeff Cummins of Kalamazoo; close companion – Steve Cowell of Paw Paw; grandchildren – Amy Green, Cameron Brunson, Chris Massenburg, Karen Cummins, Christopher Cummins, and Jessica Cummins; two great-grandchildren – Analeah and Graycen Green; five sisters – Debbie (Steve) Homan of Vicksburg, Connie Weaver of Stevensville, Gloria (Toby) Guerrero of San Antonio, Texas, Mary (Randy) Cooper of Arlington, Texas, and Helen (Carl) Fredericks of Vicksburg.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Starks officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores.
