Virginia's Obituary
Virginia Lee Criffield, 74, of Bangor, died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at her home under Hospice care. She was born October 10, 1939 to Tommie Albert and Virgie (Key) Roberts in Kennett, Missouri. Virginia married her husband of 33 years, Charles Criffield, on July 1, 1968. Virginia enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Charles Criffield who passed in 2001; siblings – Linda, Jerry, Tommy, Monroe, Carolyn Sue, Lola, and Charlie.
Virginia is survived by her children – Carlene (Glen) Shepherd, Cathy (Durward) Wilson, Sally (David) Drowns, Howard Criffield, and Raymond (Sharion) Criffield all of Bangor; stepchildren – Cindy Pendergrass and Terry Criffield; siblings – Sandy, Bob, Larry, Jimmy, James and Chester. Twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Virginia will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery in Casco Township.
