Rosemary Norlin

Rosemary R.  Norlin, 78, of South Haven, died Tuesday, February 24, 2014 at her home under Hospice care. She was born July 4, 1935 to John and Ruth (Meilke) Filbrandt in South Haven.  Rosemary was a graduate of South Haven’s Central High School.  She married Rick Norlin on May 14, 1960. Rosemary was a member at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Haven. Rosemary worked for 27 ½  years at GTE.  She also worked for  2 years at South Haven Rubber Company.  Rosemary loved to read and liked being with friends and socializing. 

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Rick Norlin who passed on June 12, 2005; brothers – Jerry (Marg) and Howard Filbrandt and sister – Joyce Bartels.

Rosemary is survived by her sister-in-law – Paula Filbrandt and a special niece – Maryann Bartels both of South Haven. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home of South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Daley officiating. Rosemary will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven.  Contributions may be made in Rosemary’s memory to the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Haven.
